Overview

The University of Missouri–Kansas City (UMKC) Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency is a comprehensive four- and six-year program that provides broad, high-volume clinical training in a supportive, resident-focused environment. Residents gain extensive experience in facial trauma, orthognathic surgery, TMJ surgery, dentoalveolar procedures, implants, benign pathology, and craniofacial surgery while rotating through three Level I trauma centers and a busy private practice.
